Chamber music. An anthology of conversation, whisper, relationship, the emergence of new epiphanies, friendships, and bonds in an intimate space. Goethe describes it as a conversation between rational people, which is also how it is understood by Jerneja, Mojca and Martin, who founded the piano trio Ars Musica in 2005 with a wish to play and make music together. Having completed solo musical studies and advanced courses in Slovenia and abroad, they further honed their skills for two years at University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz, Austria, under the tutelage of pianist Chia Chou, former member of Trio Parnassus for many years.

Experienced chamber musicians share love for detail, feeling for mood and the joy of uncovering the opaque. Carefully selected concert pieces and their performative excellence at concerts always create a dramatic arc and a story that stays with the audience even after the music has died away.

These strong suits have opened concert stages for them all over Slovenia and abroad, and secured performances organised by the Society of Slovene Composers, Lent Festival, Public Radio and Television Slovenia (RTV Slovenia), Society of Musical Artists of Slovenia, Imago Sloveniae, International Festival of Modern Music Kogoj’s Days, Glasbena Matica Ljubljana and other Slovene cultural establishments that have placed their performances on their seasonal programmes. Many of their concerts were also recorded by public radios, Radio Slovenia and Radio Koper.
